It can be difficult for people wishing to start making cheese to obtain small scale equipment needed to prove product concepts and / or to test the market. This forum has been provided to enable manufacturers and suppliers to post images and details of cheesemaking plant. Due to the nature of these posts free advertising opportunities are being provided but please do not abuse this facility. While UK and Irish manufacturers do produce small scale equipment, Continental manufacturers such as ASTA-Eismann GmbH (Germany) and Laude BV (NL) have well established product lines.
Examples of a 50 litre vat along with Gouda moulds and a cheese press are shown below. A forum member, Jaap de Jonge, is the UK and Irish distributor of these products.
