There are now 3, free, On Line calculators for determining the lethal, or chemical effects, of heat  on foods following heat treatment. - The first calculator  converts temperature values to lethal rates at a user-defined reference temperature and calculates the F or P value using the trapezoid rule. Z and reference temperature values can be varied.
Following a request for a calculator to determine B* and C* values following UHT tratment a new calculator - has been provided . In addition the F0 value can also be calculated and the concentration of lactulose predicted.
To provide even greater calculation flexability, - a calculator that enables  - 0 - , B* and C* values following UHT treatment at a given temperature for a user-defined duration, in seconds or minutes, was added on the 14th November, 2011.


These calculators should enable the lethal effects of temperature to be calculated for most thermal processes.
