The main part of the Dairy Science and Food Technology website is managed using the Open Source Joomla CMS. The current stable product version 2.5 will shortly be updated to 3.5. Version 3 gives a much better user-experience on tablets and smart phones and offers lots of enhancements.

I attempted to update the website to Joomla 3.2.1 on Saturday the 21st December. Regretfully the updating process had not gone well and I have experienced two errors both related to database problems. The software is currently 'tied' (an inherent Joomla 3.2 error) to locating the existing site templates that are not 3.2 compatible. So far I have not been able to solve this problem and I will reinstate a Joomla 2.5 backup.

I would welcome any help from Joomla experts that have encountered workarounds  for this problem.
