Andros UK Limited is a major supplier of ambient fruit-based and
chilled yogurts and desserts, with its commercial operations based in
Cambridgeshire dealing directly with all major retailers and sectors
within the UK. They acquired in 2008, the Oldford dairy site (180
people) and heavily invested in new, state-of-the-art, chilled desserts
product lines, unique on the market.
The company has experienced rapid growth, doubling the size of the
business in the last 4 years. The plan to further this expansion
includes a move of the company commercial office to west London.
This growth has been driven across both the preserves and desserts
categories through the success of the Bonne Maman brand as well as an
extensive private label activity. The products are either imported or
produced in the dedicated chilled dessert facility in the South West of
England.
Bonne Maman has seen significant success in the UK over recent years
becoming brand leader of the jam category in 2013 and continues to
demonstrate significant share growth year on year. Within chilled
desserts Bonne Maman has embarked on an ambitious plan comprising
dedicated UK range and TV support this year. Bonne Maman is known for
its simple, great quality, natural products evoking a homely welcoming
and trustworthy brand.
To support this growth we are now seeking a Senior Commercial Manager - Morrisons .
Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to join Andros as Senior Commercial
Manager to devise and implement account strategies and relationships to
deliver against ambitious growth opportunities.
The Senior Commercial Manager will look after branded and own label
food products within Morrisons across numerous categories. This is a
challenging role and the demands from the customer base and expectations
from Andros are high - so we require a high caliber candidate who is
not afraid of hard work. In return you will have full autonomy over your
accounts [business plans, margins as well as retail sales]. You will
work closely with a cross functional account team, including marketing,
NPD and supply chain so strong relationship building skills are
essential! You will need to be able to commute to London/ Hammersmith
for most of the week.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Senior Commercial Manager will have prior experience
working in a similar position and level in the FMCG arena, ideally in a
food or drink category. You will have good self-awareness, be a natural
entrepreneur and be able to demonstrate the drive to influence and
convince, in order to successfully achieve results.
You will be commercially aware with the personal attributes that are
required to succeed in this position, which include tenacity, working to
challenging deadlines [and in a changing environment!] and problem
solving through creativity. In return you will have the autonomy and
flexibility to take full accountability of your client base and unlock
the growth potential that exists!
