Apologies for not approving your post sooner. I missed it in all the SPAM!
The simple answer is no! Alcohol markedly depresses freezing point and will give you a softer ice cream. If you want to mitigate this effect there is no additive that you can add that will mitigate this effect. However, there may be a work around. You could replace some or all of the sugar with a non nutritive sweetener and polydextrose or inulin.

Is there an additive that I can include in my ice cream mix that would raise the freezing temp when using alcohol in the base? Something edible and that doesn't have much taste?
