It seems no companies in New Zealand cater for the small home made cheese maker. Cheese making kits like those made overseas are not available. Aussie seems to be our closet supplier and a comprehensive list is on-line at: www.cheeselinks.com.au

Thanks very much Mike for this information. I managed to contact Chris Newy at Foodworks and he actually supplied the same info, with the additional
contact of www.renconz.com. My inquiry to them about Supermarket Rennet suggests that "Renco for Junket" is a suitable strenght for cheese making. I will be looking into "CHR Hansen Pty Ltd" at 91 Greewood Street Hamilton for the starters and will post my findings some time in the near future, just incase there may be someone else interested. Renco NZ have also suggested an Australian company to me but at this stage I would prefer to deal locally if possible Thanks once more regards Allan |

I'm am finding it difficult to source starters etc; or even locate who the suppliers of these are in New Zealand might be. Can anyone help Thanks Allan |
