How to change F value to log reductions

Hi me again!
 
For some of our lines we have to work the no of log kills. knowing the F value can you tell us how to do this plaese!

Thanks for the question.
There are a number of  processes where there are  statutory requirements to submit the product to a heat-treatment that reduces the survival of a target organism by a defined number of log cycles.
 
The number of log reductions can easily be calculated using the equation below. 
 
FRT = DRT x log reduction.  So divide the F-value by the D-value to obtain the number of log cycle kills. 
RT= reference temperature.
D = decimal reduction time (minutes) at RT.
F =
 
equivalent time (minutes) at RT required to achieve specified level of microbial death.
